"Der Pakt für das Recht auf Leben“, der auf dem Grundsatz der „Verfügung über die eigenen Rechte“ als wesentliches Element der Bürgerrechte basiert, wurde von einer Gruppe pro-demokratischer politischer Organisationen unterzeichnet. Diese Organisationen präsentieren diesen Pakt dem iranischen Volk, als eine allgemeine Grundvereinbarung während der Zeit des Kampfes gegen das theokratische Regime, in dem Übergangsprozess und in der Zeit danach.

The "Right to Life Covenant" is based on the presumption of "the right to have rights". A group of pro-democracy Iranian political organizations have signed the Covenant as containing the most important rights of the citizens and they have presented to the Iranian people as a fundamental general agreement during the period of the struggle against the theocratic regime, during the transition and the period thereafter

"میثاق حق زندگی" مبتنی بر مبنای نظری «حقِ داشتن حق» و به مثابه اهم حقوق شهروندی را جمعی از تشکل‌های سیاسی دمکراسی‌خواه امضا کرده و به مردم ایران پیشنهاد می‌کنند برای آن که یک میثاق پایه‌ای عمومی در دوره‌ی مبارزه با حکومت حق‌کُش ولایی، در جریان گذار و در دوره‌ی پس از آن باشد.

«همگامی» مداخله جمهوری اسلامی در مراسم عزاداری ماه محرم، هراس افکنی، احضار و‌ بازداشت مداح‌های منتقد و شرکت‌کنندگان در مراسم عزاداری اعتراضی را محکوم می‌کند. «همگامی» در عین حال بر ضرورت بی‌طرفی و عدم جانب‌داری دولت در مراسم مذهبی تاکید می‌کند. شهروندان باید برای شرکت یا روی‌گردانی از اعمال مذهبی در جامعه آزاد باشند و‌ دولت به نفع مذهبیها و یا خداناباوران مداخله نکند.

قتلهای ناموسی زن کشی نیستند، زیرا زنان تنها قربانیان آنها نیستند. در قتلهای ناموسی، معمولاً قاتل با همکاری بقیه اعضای خانواده و با برنامه از قبل تنظیم شده، دست به قتل می زند و پشیمان هم نمی شود. در واقع امر، قتلهای ناموسی اعدام خانگی هستند، که در آن نه از قاضی و نه از دادستان و نه از وکیل مدافع، خبری نیست. در اینجا آگاهانه از واژه «اعدام» استفاده می کنم، زیرا قتل ناموسی در حقیقت اجرای حکم اعدام است در ابعاد خانوادگی یا دوست و آشنا.
