The Left Party of Iran welcomes the fair trial of Parviz Sabeti, which is to be held in order to achieve the rights of the victims of the Shah's regime's repression and to administer justice and evaluates it as a positive step towards achieving the truth. Thus, our party invites all former political prisoners who were persecuted during the Pahlavi era to help advance the fair process of this trial by providing testimony, documents, and legal and media assistance.
The Islamic Republic is at a losing crossroads. Either it accepts Trump's three conditions and reduces the risk of war, or it insists on not negotiating again. If it accepts the conditions, it will no longer be the Islamic Republic of the past and will become a weak (desolate) regime in the global arena.

On this International Mother Language Day, the Left Party of Iran, once again, as it always insists on the principle of equal rights of languages, declares its opposition to any kind of linguistic discrimination anywhere in the world and especially in our homeland Iran, persistently protests the ban on education in the mother tongue for millions of Iranian children, and has not spared any struggle to realize this human right in the country and will not give up.

The Left Party of Iran values the people’s rise against dictatorship, dependency, and discrimination, and, learning from the results of the Bahman Revolution that led to the establishment of the Islamic Republic, calls on the left, republican, and pro-democracy forces to unite their ranks.
The Iraqi Communist Party strongly condemns the forced displacement and ethnic cleansing plans announced by the U.S. administration. It also salutes the positions of regional countries and many nations worldwide that have rejected these plans.
There are indications that the US and Iran are haggling under the table. (Open negotiations would be a likely indication that an agreement is imminent). Let us hope that peace can win this round.
