The judiciary of the child-killing Regime of the Islamic Republic announced the execution of Mohsen Shekari. Mohsen Shekari was arrested on September 27th in Sattar Khan Street, Tehran. Under pressure and torture, he was forced to confess on television, and on November 20th, his death sentence was approved in the regime's courts, and today, Thursday, December 8th, the regime’s criminals took the life of this young man.
The Islamic Republic puts many of the arrested people under pressure and torture to make them confess. The regime forced Mohsen to confess with inhuman behavior. So far, it has forced many others to confess against their believes. Shervin Hajipour and Tomaj Salehi are among them.
Mohsen Shekari is the first detainee of the revolutionary movement to be executed. Mohsen, a 23-year-old young man, protested the murder of Mahsa Amini and came to the street with the slogan "woman, life, freedom" to declare that life is the basic right of every human being. But the regime, which has continued its disgraceful and corrupt life for years by killing citizens and relying on force, sees its downfall in the faces and lives of these young people.
In the last three months, the Islamic Republic has arrested and imprisoned at least 18,000 people. It has killed around 470 people in the streets, including sixty-four children. A large number of these dead, wounded and arrested are women. Many of them are young boys and girls who should study in a normal society and gain knowledge and experience to "prosper their country". But the regime of the Islamic Republic is alien to knowledge and progress, to happiness and creativity and everything that has sign of life.
The left party of Iran (People’s Fadaian) considers Mohsen Shekari's execution to be a state murder and strongly condemns it, and by announcing its disgust with the child-killing and corrupt regime of the Islamic Republic, it believes that the only way to get rid of the Islamic Republic is to continue to fight against it and intensify the struggle against it. The effort should be to put an end to executions in prisons, killings in the streets and efforts to release all the detainees of the revolutionary movement and other political prisoners.
We ask the freedom-loving forces and international institutions to protest against the execution of youths and to increase their pressure to end the killings, arrests, executions and for the release of detainees and political prisoners.
